I know, I know - it's been forever, but we're here now :)
The move to Washington was successful - Dan and I made it in one piece along with our four furry babies and all our belongings. I think in the whole process we only lost 2 coffee mugs - not bad :)
Well the countdown is less than 10 weeks for Baby Colon - we're getting very excited (and anxious) over here! She's quite the rockstar in my belly and is dancing constantly day and night - her athletic stamina is already amazing us :) Dr's have given us a thumbs up on everything and said she's right on track with growth and has a good, strong heartbeat (and is, of course, always moving when they're trying to find it).
Dan is off training until the beginning of December (except for two days, which he will visit for my birthday:) in which he will return to take us Christmas tree chopping - that's right, we get to chop down our own tree...our house is going to smell glor-i-ous!!! Then it's last minute check lists and making sure everything is in order.
A couple of fun things of our new place to share (1) you can hear harbor seals barking from the water at our house - it's wonderful, except at 4 in the morning (right Mom?) (2) On clear days, you can see the most majestic views of Mt. Rainer just standing there all by it's lonesome with snow covered peaks (pictures to come) (3) I saw a bald eagle flying overhead on my way to work the other day, and (4) milk is lot cheaper than it was in Hawaii :)
I know you're waiting for baby pics - that was really the whole reason for the blog, but for now, you can check out a few shots we took on a whale watching trip before Dan left, some outside pics of our new home and a few scenery shots of our neighborhood. Make sure you click on the slideshow at the bottom of the page to see full screen pictures. I will get updated belly pictures up soon - promise. Enjoy!
